The Anomaly X is the third generation of our premium medium fast fly rod, carrying forward the trusted Anomaly name while pushing performance to a new level. This generation features a Toray T1100 carbon based mixed material high modulus blank, paired with our second generation graphene infused resin system.
On paper, those materials may sound technical. On the water, the difference is unmistakable.
Our new blanks are approximately 10 percent lighter in both physical weight and swing weight, a reduction you can absolutely feel in the casting stroke. The 5wt X comes in at a barely imaginable 2.6oz. The Anomaly X is light, snappy, and exceptionally accurate. It recovers quickly, tracks cleanly, and delivers flies with precision and confidence.
